be part of the skills marketplace @ lead the Shift

ATDAZ will be holding their annual learning conference October 29, 2026. This year's conference will focus on talent development's role in the world of AI. We are inviting training, learning & talent development professionals to share their expertise around AI with the members and community of the Chapter.

We seek talented presenters who can share real-world examples and practical tactics that our members and attendees can apply in their workplace environment.

ATDAZ is a non-profit organization comprised of energetic and dedicated learning professionals committed to promoting learning and talent development throughout our community. Our members include trainers, educators, human resource practitioners, consultants, coaches, and other individuals dedicated to promoting understanding of the Talent Development professions and furthering the professional and personal development of its fellow members.

Proposals

We're launching something new at this year's ATD Arizona conference: the Skills Marketplace, a one-hour informal showcase where members demonstrate the AI tools they're actually using to make their work easier or better. We're looking for up to 10 TD professionals to host a table — no formal presentation required.

Just bring your laptop, set up shop, and be ready to show attendees how you use a specific tool in your day-to-day work: maybe it's Claude or ChatGPT for content drafting, Otter.ai or Fireflies for meeting notes and transcription, Synthesia or Colossyan for AI video creation, Gamma for building slide decks in minutes, or Perplexity for research — the goal is real tools and real workflows from real practitioners, not a pitch.

Attendees will circulate and stop by the tables that interest them to ask questions and see a live demo, so pick one tool you know well (one tool per presenter) and come ready to talk shop. Interested? Fill out this application by August 31 and we’ll let you know if you have been chosen by September 11, 2026.
