This workshop is highly interactive with partner and small group activities designed to experience the content on a highly personal level. The bulk of the training is spent practicing, interpreting, and debriefing the assessments.
Audience Level: The workshop is appropriate and relevant for any T&D/HR professional who is interested in assisting others in developing emotional intelligence. This includes people in the following professions:
• Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Executive Recruitment
• Organizational Training and Leadership Development
• Business Transformation and Change Management
• Business, Executive, and Life Coaching
• Therapeutic or Counseling Practice
Program Goals:
Upon completion of this course, learners will receive certification from Multi-Health Systems, the publisher of the EQi 2.0 suite of instruments, to administer, interpret and coach individuals to develop their emotional intelligence using these tools.

• Understand the science behind the EQ-i2.0 and EQ360
• Interpret and administer an EQ-i2.0 and EQ360 assessment

• Explain the benefits of EI to their client groups
• Build a business case for implementing EI initiatives in organizations

About the Speaker
Susan Zabriskie, owner and President of PerformanceWorks LLC, a Portland, Oregon based performance consulting firm, has over 20 years’ experience in the learning and development field. As a Performance Consultant and Certified Professional Coach she utilizes the principles of human performance improvement (HPI) and Solutions Focus to improve leadership, team and organizational effectiveness. She has developed and delivered custom, large-scale performance improvement initiatives and leadership development programs in both public and private sectors. Some of her clients include adidas, Reebok, Insitu, Tetra Pak, SEH-America, NACCO Materials Handling Group, Karcher International, Vestas American Wind Technology, the Internal Revenue Service and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
As an EQ-i® Certified Emotional Intelligence Master Trainer and DDI Certified Facilitator, Susan utilizes the EQ-I 2.0® suite of instruments to assess, train and coach CEO’s, executives, engineers, veterinarians and individual employees in a wide variety of industries, from high tech to healthcare. Much of her practice involves working with senior and mid-level management teams of both global and regional organizations to develop and implement custom leadership development initiatives based on emotional intelligence competencies. She also certifies other professionals in the use of the EQi 2.0® tools.
Susan holds a B.S. in Health Science and M.A. in Instructional Systems. In addition to her professional practice, she is on the faculty of Portland State University’s Leadership and Management Program (LAMP). She is the author of the audio book, Real Relationships, Transformative Tools for Building Authentic and Emotionally Honest Relationships.
